Clear policies help us provide consistent service, accurate production, and fair treatment for every customer.
Please review the information below regarding payments, artwork, production, rush orders, site surveys, pickup, delivery, installation, and privacy.
Payment Policy
To keep projects organized and production schedules on track, payment is required before work begins.
For orders under $600 + tax, full payment is required upfront.
For projects of $600 + tax or more, a 50% deposit is required before production begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before pickup, delivery, or installation.
Design work, artwork setup, proofs, and production will not begin until the required payment or deposit has been received.
If paying by check, work will begin once funds have cleared through our bank.
A 3% processing fee applies to card payments.
We accept cash, check, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, ACH, debit cards, and credit cards.
ARTWORK & PRINT-READY FILES
Customers are welcome to provide their own artwork. We will perform a basic review to determine whether the file appears suitable for production.
This complimentary review does not include correcting, rebuilding, recreating, resizing, vectorizing, or redesigning artwork.
If a file is not print-ready, the customer may either provide a corrected file or have JVA Prints & Signs prepare the artwork for an additional fee.
Repeated reviews of revised customer-provided files may be subject to an artwork or file-preparation fee.
When design services are not purchased, the customer is responsible for providing a correct, print-ready file.
DESIGN & FILE PREPARATION
Design & File Preparation
Graphic design, artwork preparation, vectorization, file rebuilding, resizing, layout changes, and production setup are professional services and may require an additional fee.
Design work begins after the applicable payment has been received.
Design fees cover the agreed scope of work. Additional concepts, major revisions, or work outside the original scope may result in additional charges.
SITE SURVEYS & MEASUREMENTS
Standard estimates based on customer-provided photos, measurements, quantities, and project information are complimentary.
Projects requiring an on-site visit for professional measurements, evaluation, installation planning, or project assessment are subject to a Site Survey Fee starting at $95.
For qualifying projects of $600 or more, the Site Survey Fee may be credited toward the final project total.
Additional travel charges may apply outside our regular service area.
Site surveys may include travel time, measurements, photographs, material evaluation, installation considerations, and project planning.
CUSTOMER-PROVIDED MEASUREMENTS
When JVA Prints & Signs has not performed the measurement or site survey, the customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements, quantities, specifications, wording, and project information.
JVA Prints & Signs is not responsible for additional costs, reprints, or modifications resulting from incorrect measurements or information provided by the customer.
PROOFS & APPROVAL
When applicable, a digital proof will be provided before production.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing spelling, phone numbers, addresses, dates, dimensions, colors, placement, logos, and all other content.
Production will begin after final approval when a proof is required.
Once a proof has been approved, the customer accepts responsibility for the approved content.
Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and production delays.
PRODUCTION & RUSH ORDERS
Production timelines begin once all required payments, print-ready artwork, project information, and approvals have been received.
Estimated completion dates depend on our current production schedule, material availability, and project requirements.
Delays in payment, artwork submission, approvals, or customer responses may affect the completion date.
Rush Orders
Rush service may be available depending on our production capacity.
Rush orders are subject to an additional fee based on turnaround time, project complexity, materials, and production requirements.
Rush service must be approved by JVA Prints & Signs before the order is accepted.
Requested deadlines are not guaranteed until confirmed by JVA Prints & Signs.
PICKUP, DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
Free pickup is available at our JVA Prints & Signs location during regular business hours.
Local delivery may be available for an additional fee based on distance, order size, and scheduling.
Delivery to a customer's home, workplace, event, or another location is not included unless specifically stated in the quote.
Installation is a separate professional service unless specifically included in the project quote.
CHANGES TO ORDERS & PROJECT SCOPE
Quotes are based on the project specifications available at the time the estimate is prepared.
Changes to size, quantity, materials, artwork, design, installation requirements, or project scope may require an updated quote.
Additional work requested after approval may result in additional charges and may affect the completion date.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
